Color Blocks
Blocks of colour are a BIG TREND for this Summer. This paradise stripe maxi from Warehouse is a perfect summer dress to work this trend, team it with some platform wedges for some extra height.
If you're not quite brave enough to wear bold block colours try just adding a small amount to your nails to add a splash of colour to any outfit. I LOVE Barry M's nail polish collection it comes in a wide range of gorgeous colours...

Safari Chic
Safari chic is really on trend now with lots of tan leather, straw, nudes & animal print about. Working at Warehouse myself this is a dress I have picked from there that is perfect for the 'Safari Chic' look. To work this trend use lots of tan accessories with neutral colours. Team with a straw hat and aviators and you're set to hit the dessert...

Haute Couture
As a part of one of my modules I had to create a Haute Couture Outfit. We had to source garments from Charity shops and re-style them to resemble 'Haute Couture'.
This is one of my favourite shots from the photo-shoot, I love the lighting and the detail on the bow.
As a group we curated an Exhibition in our studio in Liverpool John Moores University today (Thurs 17th March). We each chose a favourite photo from our shoots (mine being the photo shown above) and framed them to then be hung on a wall along with our outfits to showcase our work to fellow LJMU students and staff.
It went really well and a fair few people turned up to view and were really impressed with everyones work.
Here is an image of my work hung on the wall...
We were all very proud to see our work exhibited for everyone to see, and will be doing much more of it, watch this space...
